Since the franchise is named ‘Vampire’ it certainly will have a whole lot of powerful vampires but who amongst them will top the list?
The Vampire Diaries has been a fan favorite show ever since its release and fans have always loved all its characters (even villains are highly appreciated). The show lasted for a wholesome of 8 seasons and fans were always swayed away by what all it offered and therefore fans couldn’t help but wonder who amongst these were the most powerful of them all. The show going after its name had a lot of vampires and they always were fighting amongst one another, plotting or deceiving one another. The twist and tricks always left fans wondering what more could there be?
Having a debate about who might be the most powerful and dangerous vampire has always been the talk of the town. Well, here’s an analysis of who might top the list from bottom to top.
CAROLINE FORBES
Caroline Forbes was a newbie and was not very certain in the beginning as to how she’ll survive but towards the end of the show, she turned out to be a brilliant vampire. Fast, quick, helpful, and determined are the adjectives that could easily be used to define the characters of caroline. In fact, she was better as a vampire than she was as a human.
STEFAN SALVATORE
Considering his age and the number of years he had been a vampire, Stefan wasn’t as strong as he should have been because he had said bye-bye to his ripper episode but as seen in the flashbacks, when he turned off his humanity and turned, it was all bloodshed and no mercy. Even without human blood, he was very strong and was gifted when it comes to resisting compulsion.
KATHERINE PIERCE
Though the actual source of Katherine’s powers could never be found her ability to trick almost everyone was just impeccable, maybe because of the experience of 500 years, she learned a thing or two. Along with having tremendous strength and telepathic abilities, she also had amazing powers of manipulation which worked on almost everyone.
DAMON SALVATORE
Damon could also turn into a crow or a dog and had powers to cast fog along with everything. He was also more agile and had more strength than Stefan and was also more powerful than Stefan because of his human blood-rich diet.
HOPE MIKAELSON
Since she is a tribrid, she is the most powerful person in the entire series. She activated her werewolf and witch side in The Originals series but she still hasn’t activated her Vampire side. To start on her Vampire side, she’ll have to drink human blood which she hasn’t done till now. She and only her blood have powers to sire both vampires as well as hybrids and she can also cure with her blood.
ELIJAH MIKAELSON
Since the siblings (originals) were turned together into a vampire, they all almost had the same level of powers. Although was considered the most agile and the best fighter among them all (except Klaus), Elijah was considered the most agile and the best fighter. He was a highly-skilled fighter and was also very fast and certainly one of the most experienced vampires of all.
REBEKAH MIKAELSON
If Elijah had all those powers, why rate Rebekah above her? Certainly, because Elijah became sober and dwindled down his powers while Rebekah continued to be as brutal as anyone can be. She was fast and certainly very furious if anyone tried to come in her way. She didn’t offer much forgiveness and so fighting her was a great deal and also because she was very experienced.
MARCEL GERARD
Marcel was sired from Klaus and was like a son to him. Later in The Originals, Marcel also turned into an original vampire and that made him all the more difficult to fight and his vampiric skills expanded. Marcel’s powers were even more than some of the originals because the spell had increased it and his bite was lethal too.
KLAUS MIKAELSON
He was considered and portrayed as the most fearsome vampire of the series and he certainly deserved this position because he wasn’t just a vampire but also a hybrid (the first of its kind). Be it his strengths or his powers or telepathy or healing powers, he was undoubtedly a no match for almost all of them. He could sire through his blood and was the most brutal person through almost all of the series.
SILAS
He was the 1st immortal so he has to be the most powerful vampire in the series but his powers and capabilities were only shown as plot holes in the series. His telepathic powers outshine that of all the others and he has the ability to create really strong illusions, so much so that he made Klaus believe that he could die. He has the power to shape-shift and also sorcery because he was a witch as a human.
