Space Force, a show created by Steve Carell and Greg Daniels has been renewed for Space Force Season 2 on Netflix. Let’s find out the details here!
After the proposal put forth by former President Mr. Donald Trump to have the sixth branch for a ‘Space Force,’ the show was created. Steve Carell is known for his job in ‘The Office’ stars in this show as the leader of this space program. He is a four-starred general Mark Naird. The series also includes other cast members such as Lisa Kudrow, John Malkovich Schwartz, Jimmy O.Yang, Alex Sparrow, Tawny Newsome, Fred Willard, Diana Silvers, and Don Lake.
The show was co-created by Steve and Greg who have worked together before on ‘The Office’. Steve proposed the idea and they went through with it. Steve has mentioned time and again that they click, their sense of humour matches and that’s why they decided to go ahead with it. And now we are awaiting Space Force season 2.
Space Force Season 2
Season 1 has received mixed reviews which include many opinions of the humour being old and flat. The audience is divided on whether the show is good enough or not. Even on IMDB and other sites, the rating is around 6.8. But even so, Netflix has decided to give it a shot and has shown the green signal to Space Force season 2. The shooting is going to start soon and people are expecting an amazing script from the talented creators. The plots have not been properly set as of yet. Greg Daniels while talking to the press said that the script and the story itself are still underworked.
The show shooting has also been shifted to Vancouver from L.A because of budget cuts. Grabaston taking over the control has put Naird in a pickle. Angela and her team have rendered the Chinese moon base to be inoperable. Space Force season 2 can really see some new twists now.
They also have to address the political change now with Joe Biden elected as the U.S President. Jimmy O Yang has also joined the writing crew now. Hopefully, Space Force Season 2 will be able to pick it up now. They need to launch big and spectacular. The audience is inevitably going to compare The office and Space Force and Season 2 has quite the height to boost up and match up with The Office.
