The FRIENDS reunion is getting closer and the anticipation amongst the fans is also increasing. FRIENDS has been a superhit show for decades and fans cannot stop obsessing over the Friends reunion that is soon to happen. The NBC sitcom had a grand run of 10 seasons and it has still been running with HBO Max. Every year a new generation discovers this show and falls in love with it.
FRIENDS Reunion: Is it happening?
One of the best shows ever created and it is still alive and evergreen. A reunion of such a show was one of the biggest news in the entertainment industry. All the cast members will be coming together to chat and talk about the show and the memories they have made along. Parts of the reunion will be shot outside is what David has revealed in his latest statement. Some parts of the show have been already filmed. David recently revealed that he will be flying to LA for the rest of the shooting. While talking to Andy Cohen, Andy asked him about who is supposed to host the reunion. David didn’t reveal any information but he denied the rumour of Ellen DeGeneres being the host. He said, “actually, in a little over a month I’m heading out to L.A. So, finally, I mean, we figured out a way to film it safely and there’s going to be a portion of it that we filmed outside because of, you know, for safety protocols.“
All the cast has been busy with their own schedules and new projects. It has been a long time since the last episode. The cast has been often seen to get together sometimes and have a nice evening. Jennifer Aniston’s first-ever Instagram post was a selfie with the cast. Fans went mad over this pic and it was a big surprise for everyone. Everyone has been expecting a reunion or some news about the cast getting together again. Not all members have been that successful in their endeavors ahead after the show ended.
FRIENDS Cast: Where Are They Now?
Jennifer Aniston is the only member of the group who rose even higher after the show ended. Matt le Blanc who played Joey faced some family problems and had to tackle his daughter’s low health. Lisa Kudrow who played Phoebe Buffay appears in many roles in movies and shows. Lisa is one of the star cast of Steve Carell’s Space Force on Netflix. David Schwimmer later got into directing and producing many movies and shows. No matter what career path the casts have moved on with, they are still recognized from the friends’ show.
The cast was together for a decade and gave a beautiful gift to the world keeping people happy and laughing. Casey Bloys from HBO said that they will begin filming this spring. The high bar the show has set needed the cast together. A web show or a zoom reunion would in no way be that good. Everyone is working hard to see this happen. David said he will fly early to LA for the grand Friends union. So even his other castmates will be there soon and they will start filming. Additionally, HBO is providing all cast with a total of $20 million. So, the FRIENDS reunion is definitely going big.
It has taken quite a long for the cast and the show to be put together. The pandemic sure hasn’t made things easy. But finally, all the pieces seem in the right place and it is happening. We all just have to wait a little more.
