The director of WandaVision revealed the future of WandaVision season 2. Here’s what you need to know!
After the last episode of WandaVision, there have been some questions about WandaVision season 2. The director Matt Shakman confirmed that currently Marvel has no plans about WandaVision season 2. But the possibility is not out of question is what the studio president says. After WandaVision released on Disney+ this January it has been in talks ever since. The show is quite successful and people loved the story of the couple and their challenges and how they tackle their powers.
Elizabeth Olsen plays Wanda Maximoff/ Scarlet Witch and Paul Bettany plays Vision. The scenes are set after Avengers: Endgame where the couple is living a happy life in Westview. The show walks through the different time Eras of the American television. The show later reveals that Wanda has created a sitcom to grieve Vision’s death and cope up with it. The show also had a reappearance of Marvel Universe characters like Darcy Lewis and Jimmy Woo. The show also had a shocking reveal that Evan Peters is Pietro Maximoff.
Wanda could appear in the Doctor Strange sequel. Wanda is said to be one of the leads in the upcoming Doctor Strange movie. The movie and the plot or the role of Wanda is still pretty unclear. The title is going to be Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness. The president of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige said that WandaVision season 2 is not out of question, they just don’t have it planned yet. Like the movies, they are going to take ahead shows one step at a time. Shakman said that they have no plans but as soon as they get a good story at hand or have some plan ready, they can move ahead.
WandaVision is a massive success for Marvel and Disney. The catchy song ‘Agatha All Along’ from the seventh episode revealing Agnes to be Agatha Harkness has become a hit. Marvel has now stepped in the web show business and they are doing great. Another series about the God of Mischief (Loki) is said to be releasing soon. A show on Falcon and the Winter soldier is also expected to come out soon and Marvel is focused on these projects for now.
