Savage America #12 recently delivered a new surprise for every Doctor Strange fan by adding a new dimension to his life in the form of Elektra, that is romance for Doctor Strange. The Issue starts with steaming anti-gravity sex in Strange’s Sanctum Sanctorum, this is the movie where they accept that they need to give a chance to their relationship after finding some signs of compatibility.
Romance For Doctor Strange Can Make Him Grow
However, some Doctor Strange fans think that it might be a conspiracy for shock value but actually, it is the real thing that Strange needs to grow his career and overall story. Romance for Doctor Strange is all that Strange needs.
It can sound way too cliche but, romance for DoctorStrange- his relationship with Elektra is just a way of refreshing his character, especially having so much pressure after Marvel’s announcement of the new movie phase. Benedict Cumberbatch brought more fans to the character and a romance with a high-profile assassin like Elektra creates intrigue. However, while that’s on the surface level, deep down there’s a lot of substance to this union.
Elektra and her relationship with Strange is a way of bringing out the risque side of Strange and a move to make him comfortable in his own skin. After losing his magical power in Mark Waid’s last run he is continuously feeling anxious and getting the feel of lack of authority. But Elektra is being her support system and guiding him to be more assure and to make decisions based on a proper mix of his emotion and his power’s logic. As seen with how she kills Daniel Drumm at the crossroads so Brother Voodoo/Jericho Drumm can bind to his soul once more, she knows that decisiveness is the key to victory. Daredevil, Wolverine, Punisher’s comments can tell how much of a master of strategies Elektra is. Elektra is what Strange needs to get out of his persona of Yes Man, in the last few decades he has made many decisions where he was manipulated by Red Richard, Captain America, and Iron Man’s comments.
He needs this stronger persona as he leads his new crew that includes Magik, a supernatural apprentice, as well as Logan, Black Widow, Jericho, and Daniel, Daimon Hellstrom, and the stubborn Conan. Romance for Doctor Strange in form of Elektra by his side, then he can really be a great leader.
