Stranger Things fans can finally have a sigh of relief because the makers have some good news for them. After a lot of speculations that season 4 would be the final one of this very amazing and beloved Netflix series, the makers of the show have decided to continue it for a bit more. Makers ‘Duffer brothers’ that is ‘Matt and Ross Duffer confirmed that they are planning on another season 5 if the show gets renewed.
In a recent interview with ‘The Hollywood Reporter, Ross Duffer said “Stranger Things season 4 won’t be the end. We know what the end is and we know when it is. (The Pandemic) has given us time to look ahead, figure out what’s best for the show. Starting to fill that out gave us a better idea of how long we need to tell that story”. While it hasn’t yet been confirmed from the side of streaming platform Netflix just as of yet, but considering everything the odds are in the favor of the show.
If this happens, what will be the star cast? When will it release? What will be the storyline? We are very clear it’s a long shot and very uncertain containing a lot of ‘ifs’, but here’s everything we already know.
IS THERE A POSSIBILITY FOR STRANGER THINGS SEASON 5?
There certainly is a possibility for season 5 considering all the facts and reports from various sources. It is basically in the hands of Netflix to decide what will be the future of the show and what’s its decision will certainly be based on the response and reviews of season 4. Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer have certainly confirmed that they are willing to go on with the show. Also, David Harbour recently mentioned the possibility of season 5, he said “I can’t imagine if this is the last. I feel like we would know if this was the last”.
WHEN WILL IT RELEASE?
Everything has been thrown off schedule due to these unprecedented times of Covid 19 but one thing’s very certain that this will release after season 4 is completed. So the release of season 5 actually entirely depends on when and how season 4 releases. It is currently even not clear whether season 5 will be the last season according to all the statements being made.
