The Vampire Diaries’ beloved character Caroline Forbes played by Candice King recently hints at the possible return of her character in the show.
The CW’s popular show “The Vampire Diaries” has been everyone’s favourite since its release. The supernatural drama debuted in 2009 and successfully ran for eight years. The Vampire Diaries is an adaptation of a book series of the same name by L.J Smith. Since then, teen drama quickly earned a huge and loyal fanbase globally. The success of The Vampire Diaries led to multiple spinoffs including The Originals and Legacies. However, fans are still hoping for The Vampire Diaries reboot. Recently, actress Candice King who played the character of Caroline Forbes in the show revealed that she might return as Caroline in the teen drama. Let’s find all the details together!

In The Vampire Diaries each and every character received immense love from the audience and Caroline Forbes is one of them. Caroline’s character was initially introduced as a self-centered woman and insecure friend. But the moment she turned into a Vampire, her character evolved into a warm figure willing to make sacrifices for others. The drastic change in her character made her a beloved character in the series. However, she faced an unexpected tragedy at the end of the show.
Caroline Forbes’ Return In The Show
During an interview with Tommy DiDario on Instagram, Candice confessed that she is looking for an opportunity to return as Caroline Forbes in the show. Take a look at what Candice said,
“Yes, I always just say yes. And obviously, COVID changed things and the way that things were filming so those invitations might even be a little delayed, you know. But uh, yes, Absolutely. Absolutely.”
Well, Candice revealed that she wants to appear on the show as Caroline. Though, she is still a part of the teen drama “Legacies” the second spinoff of The Vampire Diaries. But Candice hasn’t made a visible cameo in the show. But most of the TVD fans want to see her on the screen again. During the interview, Candice shared that she has been in touch with the show’s creator Julie Plec. However, Candice King has not reprised her role in years but Legacies hinted at her return in the show as Lizzie and Josie’s mother.
