Here’s what we know all about Netflix’s Sweet Tooth season 2?
With the fans of ‘Stranger Things’ and ‘The Umbrella Academy’ having nothing to look up to due to the delay in their respective season releases, Netflix came up with another winner series in the form of ‘Sweet Tooth’ produced by Robert Downey Jr. Very similar to the storyline of Stranger Things, the story is about a group of young actors who are trying to bring life to Jeff Lemire’s comics of the same name. With the 1st season being a huge hit, fans are expecting a possible season 2 for the same.
STORYLINE OF SWEET TOOTH SEASON 1
This American drama series is based on the story of a post-apocalyptic world where a boy, who is half human and half deer, is trying to start from the beginning with a gruff protector. The series contains 8 episodes with the main star cast including Christian Convery (aka Gus) and Nonso Anozie (aka Tommy Jepperd).
WILL THERE BE A SWEET TOOTH SEASON 2?
This remains a mystery as nothing has been confirmed yet about a second season. The comic’s lasted for around 40 issues and the 1st season only covered the initial part of the book. Since season 1 also didn’t follow the comic books to the very end, season 2 also comes with a wide variety of plots but most of the storyline is expected to be like the comics only. Since Gus has already met Wendy and Bobby (the other hybrids) and they might be escaping the compound if and when season 2 possibly happens.
It is almost impossible to say that when exactly Sweet Tooth season 2 will release but if it happens and the series gets renewed, there is a possibility that by autumn next year that is 2022 it will be released. Till anything gets finalized, do watch the 1st season on Netflix.
