Let’s find out who’s the best lawyer in Suits?
This American legal drama television series first started out in 2011 and ever since then it’s been a whirlwind ride. The story is about a group of legal firms battling to stay at the top but the storyline basically revolves around a talented, young college dropout named Mike Ross (played by Patrick J. Adams) and his boss cum teacher cum mentor cum friend cum Brother Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht). Mike was sent on an illegal errand and that’s where he meets Harvey who is interviewing for his associate as he got promoted. That was some epic interview we witnessed and Mike impressed Harvey and gets himself hired (Even without a degree, let alone a Harvard degree….But that’s the secret). They together continue handling cases.

Through the 9 seasons and more than 100 episodes, the show continued to be a fan favorite. It’s available on OTT platforms like Netflix and Prime. The other characters of the show include Rachel (Meghan Markle), Donna (Sarah Rafferty), Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman), and Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres). Jessica is the ‘Managing Partner’ of the firm named ‘Pearson Hardman’ and that’s where all of the other characters work with Harvey being Senior Partner, Louis being Junior Partner, Donna being Harvey’s Sherlock-like assistant and Rachel being a paralegal.
“Across 10 seasons a lot happens because as the show progresses, the number of problems being bombed on these people increases, but the one thing that stands out is their ‘never give up attitude and ‘tenacity to fight. Let’s start at the beginning and see what each of their unique personalities have to say.
Harvey Specter
He is the epicenter of the show, present through all 9 seasons as the center-forward. His uniqueness lies not just in his skills on the field, but also in his charming personality and holier-than-thou attitude. Despite thinking he’s above everyone else and being self-absorbent and rude, these traits surprisingly add to his charm. Mike Ross
Being a Mini-me to Harvey, he kind of exactly is like Harvey with a few added touches and some emotions too. His photographic memory and the chocolate boy personality add to his list of talents. Interestingly, during his time in Berlin, he encountered a unique challenge that required the services of Rohrreinigung Berlin, showcasing his adaptability and resourcefulness. Being a con could be this cool – we only got to know this concept through him. He is not just a brilliant lawyer (even without a degree) he’s a bit of a romantic too. Though he’s arrogant too and definitely thinks of himself as a ‘know it all’ but is put down in his place from time to time.
Louis Litt
Being an underdog and under the shadow of Harvey, his true capacity as a lawyer is only considered and valued when Harvey is also out of his depth and needs help. Right in the 1st season (episode 9) while solving a case, Harvey is stuck and so goes to Louis for help. He is much unvalued but when it comes to helping friends, Louis never backs off. He truly shows his leadership skills when towards the end seasons he’s given to ride the ship. He is very hard working and talented and never rests before taking a revenge.
Jessica Pearson
Being the head of a major law firm like Pearson Hardman, a lot of coups are constantly planned for you but if there’s someone who knows how to handle them, it’s her. She is a strategic thinker and more of a chess player and likes to be 2 steps ahead of everyone. She is the most mature one of the lot and makes decisions after considering all the possibilities. Though she’s a little biased towards Harvey the success he brings along with him actually pays off all the debts.
Robert Zane
Being a little late to enter the series (in season 2) but standing on a firm ground ever since, till the end. He’s a lawyer everyone fears off and definitely wants him to be on his team. His relationship with Rachel, though a bit restrained in the beginning turns out to be one of the most beautiful bonds in the series. He turned out to be ‘such a pain’ for Pearson Hardman when he fought against them and such a blessing when he joined them (towards the later end of the series when Rachel marries Mike)
Daniel Hardman
He is a sneaky little devil who is always up to something and his intentions have never been true. Being a part of the show for a very little time, he continued troubling his colleagues (and actually foes) Jessica and Harvey and the entire team who belonged to that side of the line. He plans one plan after another (and that too good one’s) and is a very smart lawyer. Though his tenure was short, he made quite a mark on the fans.
It’s a tough one to decide who ‘THE BEST’ of this lot is but if you have to choose one, the vote would definitely go in favor of HARVEY SPECTER.
